We here at Powder Divas are dedicated to getting you on the mountain; from the right gear to the correct instruction. There are a lot of great programs out there for women and we have put together some in which we have participated and some here in Colorado that are designed specifically for women so that you get the instruction that you need. If you know of anyothers besides these, please let us know and we will review and post them after we approve them so that you can get the instruction that you deserve! First, we'll start off with Steamboat because we have a store located right in the heart of Steamboat! All certified female coaches lead this program for women only, with an emphasis on camaraderie and skill improvement. Steamboat Advanced Skiing and Snowboarding Seminars Steamboat Beginner Skiing and Snowboarding Seminars Girlz on Edge - A multi-day ski excursion designed exclusively for intermediate to advanced women alpine skiers. We also have a great relationship with Winter Park resort and they offer many women's learn to ride programs from a Burton Women's Snowboard camp to three week progressive clinics to ski and ride weekends. She has two World Extreme Skiing Champoinships along with winnings in the U.S. Extremes and the South American Extremes. If you are looking to get into the backcountry, you will definitely need instruction before you go so that you stay safe and have fun. Babes in the Backcounrty is an organization in Colorado that teaches women how to get out to the backcountry and to be safe and how to have fun!
